So I'm almost done with my classes. I took BIO160-Anatomy, PSY230-Statistics and ENH280-Graphic Novels this semester. I got a decent C in BIO and the rest of them well their finals are due the 29th, so ill keep you updated. For ENH, I'm doing a lesson plan to teach "American Born Chinese" by Gene Luen Yang to high school level students. Go and check it out!
Did ya'll notice how the world didn't end yesterday? I'm glad because a) i didn't believe it anyway, and b) i am not done with the world yet! buhahaha! (maniacal laugh)
My goal on Goodreads was to read 125 books by the end of the year (www.goodreads.com/challenges/2…). I'm at 114 (115 by tomorrow mostly likely); maybe i can maybe it in 10 days if i read about 1-2 a day lol. I just love that site and how i can set goals, update my thoughts on a book and review ones I've already encountered.
Carl and i have been hanging out more which is good. ill have about a month off til the next semester so maybe we can get in cuddle time and some dates. I love him and how supportive he is of my educational goals. <3
Its Christmas on Tuesday! I've made quite a few of my presents so i hope people enjoy them. I also meant to send out Xmas cards so they may go out Monday to those who have sent me one themselves and a few other specials folks. I really wanted to go to CA for Christmas but we didn't have the money and my parents house isn't done yet anyway. Next year might be better anyway with it being done there would be less stress and i might have more money by then anyway.
My birthday is January 9th and ill be 28 which is weird. I remember when i thought 28 was old and its really not, there is so much to do still in my life! a few months after than ill have my AA in Psychology and then i am getting a Small Business bachelors Degree; this is more of a fall-back plan in case teaching doesn't quite work out. I plan on going to ASU (Arizona State University) for my Master's in Education (specifically Special and Gifted Education) if i am still living in AZ; if Carl and i have moved to CA, i'd try for CSUF (California State University- Fullerton) or UCR (University of California- Riverside).
Anyways have a good holiday, friends and family!

Quick Update
Carl and i went to Phoenix Comicon this weekend and met lots of cool people and supported our artist friend Heather martin.
I have pix and what not but im lazy so ill update a full entry later.
We saw john Barrowman and Raven Gregory. Was worth it even with the heat!

These crutches...
suck. Yup i messed up my leg on Monday night so i'm in crutches til at least the 30th. Cant work either since im a crossing guard and all. I was walking out of black bear diner where we have our lions club meeting and my leg just gave out and i rolled my ankle. i thought i was ok until it started hurting worse about 20 mins later. Carl and i went to urgent care and they wrapped my foot, gave me pain pills and crutches and told me no work and not much walking for a week. Thankfully Jeanette and Carl have been helping me out with food and getting my school work into the bed room so i can keep my leg propped up.
